To process your loan they will need your signature on the documents and also the signature of a friend or family member who is willing to act as Guarantor for your loan.
Your Guarantor must meet the following criteria (will vary slightly by lender):
- Are a UK Homeowner
- Are aged over 23 up to and including older retirees (i.e in their 70's)
- Good or slightly imperfect credit history
- Earning over £800 per month (inc. any pension)
As soon as you and your Guarantor have signed the simple forms, you need to return them to your chosen lender.Your nominated caseworker will aim to get the funds to you within 48 hours.
Depending on which lender you choose you may not need to provide any documentary proof of identity for you or your guarantor or any copies of financial documents.
